Academics & Activities
Specialized ProgramGifted and talented program
We offer a rigorous curriculum that is research based and proven to be effective in all content areas. In addition, we offer a Moral Focus curriculum to build character and a well-rounded student.
DMA hosts a variety of family events throughout the school year and partners with local agencies to provide tutoring, after care, family assistance during the holidays, camping for our students, and more. We offer clubs twice per year and clubs vary based on student and teacher interest. Clubs can range from kick boxing, exercise, walking to crafting, knitting, or healthy cooking. We also offer male and female mentor opportunities, Boy and Girl Scouts, Pretty Positives and Tiny Tunes Piano, among others.
|Leadership and Mentoring|
Merit instructional groups students to ensure we meet their needs where they are. Extra support is provided for students who have gaps in their learning, while an accelerated and more challenging path is offered to students who need a push.
