Enrollment Instructions

Our enrollment process includes NWEA testing to determine your child’s grade-level placement based on reading ability. The grade-level placement test must be completed during the registration process for your child to attend Pembroke Academy.
The assessment is used to place your child at the instructional level that best meets her/his needs based on reading ability level. Your child will be placed within two grade levels of her/his age-appropriate grade.
Apply – complete the application.
Accepted – after you complete the application, and your child is accepted to Pembroke Academy, bring them to the school for grade-level placement testing, and to complete/submit your Admissions Form and Official Release of Records Form. Immediately after your child completes the test, you will consult with Principal Stephanie Glenn to discuss your child’s grade-level placement.
Registered – after step two is completed, your child will be registered. At this time, you will receive additional forms to confirm your child’s attendance.

School Safety Culture

Students require a safe and orderly place to learn and do their best. At Pembroke Academy, safety practices are in place which include:
Keeping our doors locked - all visitors are required to check in at the office before going into the school.
We provide safety training to all staff and students.
Bullying is not tolerated and students are expected to be kind to others and demonstrate respect and courtesy at all times.
